Experience
While pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at Clemson University Mrs. Sudduth interned for Utility Technology in the summer of 2007 and 2008.  Upon graduation in May 2009, she joined UTEC. Mrs. Sudduth has been responsible for substation design, distribution system investigations, and distribution generation and power system studies.

Design tasks have included specifications of substation structures and equipment, physical layout, relaying and control, insulation coordinating and grounding. Facilities have included both overhead and underground distribution through 34.5kV, overhead transmission lines and substations through 138 kV.

Power system studies have included arc flash hazard analysis, load management, power factor correction, relay coordination, fault current and load flow. As a part of these studies, Mrs. Sudduth has made detailed measurement and analysis of existing conditions, economic comparison of alternatives, and recommendations for improved system operations.

In addition to her project experience, Ms. Sudduth serves as Office Manager for the UTEC South Carolina office in Spartanburg, SC.
