EXPERIENCE |
Mr. Mullis went to work for Black & Veatch Consulting
Engineers in Asheboro , NC in 1985. At Black & Veatch Mr.
Mullis served as a project engineer on a wide range of utility
projects. He worked on 115 kV/12.47 kV substation projects,
medium voltage industrial power distribution projects, and 480
V power distribution for water treatment facilities. Mr.
Mullis has also worked on a variety of electric system study
projects including load management and SCADA feasibility
studies, reliability studies, load flow studies, and short
circuit studies.
In 1989 Mr. Mullis founded Utility Technology
Engineers-Consultants, and is a partner in the firm. Since
founding UTEC, Mr. Mullis has worked continuously on SCADA and
related projects. He has had the major responsibility for
evaluating SCADA vendors, computer hardware, operating
systems, and designing interface to field devices. His SCADA
experience includes electric, water, and gas utility systems.
As a part of the various SCADA projects, Mr. Mullis has had
in-depth experience in evaluating, and implementing various
communications systems. His fiber optic experience includes
over 174 miles of fiber optic cable.
Mr. Mullis also has extensive experience in supervising and
administering the installation and start-up of SCADA and fiber
optic systems. |
