EXPERIENCE |
Mr. Ferree began work at Carolina Power and Light Company in June 1979. He initially worked as an Energy Services Engineer, with primary responsibilities including residential and commercial HVAC analysis and project management of the residential appliance control program. In 1986 Mr. Ferree moved to Rate Administration where he advised account executives on administration of rates and service procedures. He also developed and implemented a training program for administration of new rate formats. From 1989-2000 Mr. Ferree served as an Industrial Account Manager in Asheboro , North Carolina . In this position he was responsible for unregulated sales, construction projects, rate negotiations, power quality issues and load forecasting. The customer base consisted of 60 customers representing $35 million in annual electric sales.
In April 2000, Mr. Ferree joined Utility Technology. At UTEC he has contributed to a variety of projects, including substation relay design, street lighting and distribution line relocations for NCDOT road projects. |

- CP&L, Provided Air Conditioning Contractors of America (AACA) technical training as requested by area heat pump dealers for participation in the Quality Heat Pump Dealer Program.
